Willows Farm Village

Easter Eggstravaganza: Enjoy a choc-o-bloc programme of indoor and outdoor activities including Easter Egg Hunt, Bunny Hunt, Pony Grooming, Rabbit Racers, the Farmyard Favourites area, Adventure Play, Woolly Jumpers indoor play barn, Puppet Show, Storytime and free chocolate treats for the kids.


St Albans Cathedral

Local parks

Play in the Parks: A free open access play and physical activity scheme organised by Active St Albans for children aged 5 to 12 including drama games, arts and crafts as well as a variety of physical activity and sport workshops. Find out more.


Bekonscot Model Village

The fabulous 80-year-old model village and railway is a great place to visit for all ages and the annual pass is excellent value. Open 10am-5pm. More.

The Wiz: St Albans Youth Music Theatre present a fun andn funky retelling of The Wizard of Oz, guaranteed to get all the family dancing down the Yellow Brick Road. At 7.30pm with 2.30pm matinee on 6 Apr. Info and tickets.

Blown Away: What if, one windy night a little girl arrives in your bedroom and tells you she is the wind? Join us as a small boy finds himself swept up and whisked away on an unforgettable journey. Flying through the air with the world so small below them, they feel big, and when you’re big you can do anything at all! We invite the audience to feel the wind as it blows them up to the top of the world. A beautiful and engaging show containing live music, shadow puppetry and movement. Suitable for age 3 – 6 years. Radlett Centre

The Wind in the Willows: Beautifully written, played and produced this show in Image Musical Theatre’s immensely popular format gives the opportunity for everyone to take part. During the light hearted half hour rehearsal, some children are chosen and rehearsed into their parts as the rabbits, the ducks and the thieving weasels while the rest of the audience is taught the choruses of four songs. During the interval the actors and children are costumed and the show, lasting 1 hour, runs seamlessly with everyone taking part as rehearsed. Suitable for ages 5+, show runs 1 hour 50 mins inc interval. At 11am and 2pm. Buy tickets.
