Sat 26 Nov - Sun 3 Nov: October half term activities including creepy crawly handling sessions, mask making, face painting and visit the Leaf Cutter ant colony running all week. Also activities on each day including glow bugs, sand art, bird feeders and much more.  Times and info on the website. Some activities may incur an additional charge.

Burston Garden Centre

Children's Pumpkin Mask Making, face painting and storytelling. 11am to 3pm. All money raised goes to Greenfingers charity.

Clock Tower

Pumpkin Carving.  Carve your own pumpkin.  The best will go on display at the Clock Tower on Halloween night. 1pm - 5pm. Free (£3 to take pumpkin home).

Celtic Harmony Camp

Samhain Week: enjoy autumn crafts, games and activities to prepare for Halloween. Daily from 10am to 5pm. Costs £8 person in advance for adults and children. Under 2's free.

Half-Term Skates: 1pm-2.30pm and 3pm-4.30pm.  £5.25 (£6.75 with skate hire)

Stockwood Discovery Centre

Halloween Activities - Decorate Halloween cookies, enjoy craft activities and Halloween games, hear about the Curse of the Cave and dress up. 11am - 3.30pm.  Free entry (some activities will incur a small charge).

St Albans Cathedral


The Big Draw: The theme for this year’s Big Draw is Draw Tomorrow. Our team of volunteers will help you with ideas on how to approach the theme through exploring the Cathedral building and its artefacts before using the wide range of materials provided to create your very own masterpiece! From 10.30am to 3pm. Free!
