The first St Albans Vegan Fair will be held on 27 August 2018 (Bank Holiday Monday) at Westminster Lodge Leisure Centre from 10am to 4pm. Entrance is £3.
Showcasing the variety of vegan foods and products on offer, the Fair will have more than 60 stalls with a vast range of vegan snacks, hot foods, desserts, drinks, cooking ingredients, ready-made meals, spices, vegan clothing, jewellery and accessories. Businesses from St Albans, Luton, Milton Keynes, Northampton, London and across the UK will be involved.
The event is organized by Vente Viteikaite, a Lithuanian who has lived in the UK for more than 4 years and has organized several vegan events in her home country.
"I was inspired by the Vegfest UK festival I visited three years ago and decided to bring it to Lithuania. We do three events in a year - Vegfest LT Summer Festival, Vegfest LT Christmas Fair in Vilnius and Vegfest LT Kaunas in the second biggest city in Lithuania. In the upcoming event there'll be a great range of hot and cold vegan meals, drinks, various sweets – cakes, pies, cupcakes, muffins, doughnuts, cookies and so on - they're always the best sellers. There’ll be also skincare brands, clothes, jewellery, accessories, clothing and much more."
