The Theme is Rio so expect music, colour and sport. There will be lots of free things to do and see from face painting to the barrel train as well as a number of paid for activities like an inflatable helter-skelter. 18 – 19 June: The Alban Weekend

The fun just keeps coming with the return of the traditional Alban Weekend. Sat 18 June sees the usual Alban pilgrimage to the Abbey starting at St Peter's Church at 11am. The route passes through the City centre via Chequer St & George Street. On Sun 19 June from midday to 6pm the Alban Street Festival takes over St Peter's Street with a wide range of food and drink stalls, pop-up art studios, a Sports arena, family tent and Minecraft hackathon, all presided over by the dulcet tones of Radio Verulam.

24 June - 3 July: Imagine Watford

Imagine Watford returns to the streets for its 6th spectacular year, with a free two week festival of national and internationally acclaimed street art and performance of the highest quality.

The festival transforms Watford Town Centre into a place of wonder and excitement with its biggest and best line up to date. From enthralling dance performances to breathtaking acrobatics, interactive children’s theatre to Crazy Bikes, there is something for everyone to enjoy.
