There's lots of great music coming your way in St Albans this summer with some great events just around the corner in July:
International Organ Festival
The 28th International Organ Festival kicks off on 4th July for 15 days with a rich programme of
music on offer. There'll be world premieres from leading
composers James MacMillan, Paul
Patterson and Kyung-Hwa Chae and on their first visit to the festival is Austria’s
acclaimed Orchester Wiener Akademie
in a programme of Haydn and Mozart. Tickets and timetables are available on the Festival
website.
And if organ music is not you're thing you'll still be spoilt for choice as for the first time the IOFringe festival will run in tandem with the main Organ Festival offering free live music at a host of venues throughout the District. See the
brochure for more details.
