The Jingle Bell Jog & Reindeer Run returns to St Albans for its 9th year on Sunday 4 December 2016, starting at Waterend Barn, St Peter’s Street. You can choose between a 1.5km Reindeer Run or a more challenging 5k Jingle Bell Jog.Run, walk, dance or even toddle your way around the streets of St Albans.

Santa Spectacular from 23 Nov - 24 Dec at Willows Activity Farm has plenty of festive fun for families. Alongside a magical grotto, elves workshops, real life reindeer, a toy shop and a visit to Santa, children can learn their elf-a-bet, enjoy a 3D sleigh ride film experience, meet Mischka, the Alaskan Malamute and much more. See Santa on the St Albans Round Table Christmas float between 4 and 24 December as it visits local streets. 

The St Albans Christmas Market returns to the Vintry Garden for a fourth year.  There'll be live music, food and drink while you shop among the sheds. Open from 24 Nov - 18 Dec daily.

An outdoor ice rink will be providing festive fun (and a few tumbles) at Watford's Big Skate from 26 Nov - 15 Jan. Tickets include skate hire, with skating aids and double-bladed 'bob skate' available to help keep little ones upright. Booking is highly recommended and group discounts are available.

Further afield you can celebrate Christmas at Stockwood Discovery Centre from 10 - 23 Dec. Enjoy create-and-make activities to take home, a bubble disco, festive magic show and Christmas tales then complete the festive experience with a visit to Santa and his elves.
