Butterfly World Goes Wild this Summer

Butterfly World Goes Wild this Summer

Visitors to Butterfly World are in for a wild time this June and July with two great conservation events on the calendar

Conservation Day

June 27th is Conservation Day at Butterfly World. Visitors can chat to wildlife experts and handle live animals. There'll also be lots of children's activities to enjoy including storytelling and face painting too. Open from 10am to 5pm

Photography Workshops

Develop your photography skills and take beautiful pictures of butterflies, insects and flowers on 5, 15  and 26 Jul. These sessions include a presentation and demonstration, followed by photography time, practical help and advice. (Various times, see website).

Bee Awareness Day

Bees take over Butterfly World on 26th July for one day only. There'll be lots of honey product stalls and a chance to learn about our native bees too with bee keeping demonstrations and the chance to make your own beeswax candle.

The key event on the day will be the launch of Butterfly World's new Bee Garden, packed full of bee-friendly plants. Open from 10am to 5pm
