Airspace Changes at London Luton
London Luton Airport is proposing changes to the flight path of planes which currently overfly parts of St Albans and is seeking public feedback through a consultation form on their website.
Introduction of a new technology should enable aircraft which are taking off to fly the route more closely, drawing aircraft away from densely populated areas into the gap between Harpenden and St Albans.
London Luton claims the proposed changes will decrease the environmental impact of aircraft, CO2 emissions and the amount of overflown areas in the District.
Interested parties are asked to complete the consultation survey before 9th July 2014.
