    8:00 PM

Indian QueensConsisting of sisters Jennifer (guitar/vocals) and Katherine (bass) O’Neil, along with lifelong friend Mat on Drums, the trio, who were born and raised in Hackney Wick, have been making music together since their school days. Under the moniker INDIAN QUEENS they take their influence from the ever-changing environment of the city with and musically mine a similar field to bands such as Warpaint, Radiohead and Massive Attack. Their sound is an atmospheric blend of soaring guitars and solid drum beats that evoke and uplift. The band describe the project as… “a way to escape. We didn’t know how to record an album but we begged, stole and borrowed, got evening jobs so we could record all day. We worked every hour given to us because we knew we had something special at our fingertips. Growing up under the shadows of concrete giants, the songs are a reflection of our city’s energy.”TICKETS: £6 Adv / £8 Door Ages 14+ (Under 18s to be accompanied by a guardian) Find out more...

Ohasis play the songs in the most current live arrangements, with amazing accuracy. Nailing the Oasis look was very important, as image is everything; and was everything to Oasis. We take our stage show very seriously. Ohasis meticulously re-create the visuals, music and atmosphere of a real Oasis performance. That’s why the band have heavily invested in the exact same guitars, basses and drums used live by Ohasis, which all helps to create that unmistakeable Oasis wall-of-sound.   Find out more...

  • Wed 08 May - Honeyblood / FEET

    8:00 PM

HoneybloodHoneyblood’s third album sees Stina Tweeddale finding her most ambitious form and steely focus yet. Three albums in she has stepped forward to finally claim the mantle of the project she birthed seven years ago as a her sole vision. Stina takes the reigns in collaboration with none-other than super-producer John Congleton (Angel Olsen, St Vincent) for the most definitive Honeyblood LP to date, consolidating the Glasgow-born band as one of the most important UK names. On lead single, ‘The Third Degree’ (out today) Stina’s arguably perfected the fine art of the punk-rock ode-to-the-shit-head-ex. But ‘In Plain Sight’ is as sonically gung-ho as peak era Garbage, or the modern day likes of St Vincent; big, bold, songwriting no longer content to be tied to one limited genre. Woven with mysterious themes of illusion and deception, Tweeddale describes the album as “one big trick”. Being hoodwinked never felt so exciting. Following work with fellow Scots Young Fathers, Edinburgh-based director Rianne White collaborated with Stina to bring the vision of ‘The Third Degree’ to life - the brilliant video charts an encounter with the shit-head-ex in Stina’s native Glasgow and is peppered with vignettes inspired by the album’s theme of optical illusions. Previously signed to FatCat, the re-haul of Honeyblood has also seen Stina enter a brand new relationship with Marathon Artists (home to Courtney Barnett, POND and Jagwar Ma), a natural fit and the right home for this evolution. On 'In Plain Sight', Honeyblood has faced fears and abandoned status quo. The piano anti-ballad 'Harmless' is an intentional end. It's about owning up to your own faults and hiding behind a tough exterior to mask your vulnerabilities. In Honeyblood, Stina has boldly tackled the next chapter of her journey alone, and in the shifting sands she's found new textures and possibilities. “I was petrified before going to record the album because what if I'd made a terrible record?” she asks. “I know I've done myself justice. I've made something I'm really happy with and I'm just itching to get going now. From now on this is how it's gonna be.” Support fromFEETFormed on the 30th of January 2016, FEET was really a distraction for its members from their endless bowls of pasta and lonely nights due to their poor game. The band then quickly projected from a boozy side project, to a realistic excuse to discuss dropping out of uni. With a European tour under the belt, seeing the likes of Luxembourg in all its glory, as well as a stop over to France. Join us for A Special Acoustic Evening with Echobelly at The Horn! After the maelstrom years of Britpop and their ensuing success as Echobelly , a series of experiences insued that rock’n’roll would call its own, including death, drugs, theft and high court injunctions, Glenn and Sonya came through the storm to a time of reflection, re-positioning and reality: Where to go from here when the desire to write songs is stronger than ever but the business has changed considerably? Back to what you once knew. And that’s exactly what they did. A handful of acoustic shows took place in 2010 and two acoustic mini albums were released in 2011 and 2012, with a full album planned to follow soon afterwards. Before that could happen, however, Sonya and Glenn found themselves longing once again for the full-band experience and in 2015 Echobelly was resurrected. With a new-look line-up in place, a live show at London’s Scala was announced. It sold out and was quoted by fans as being one of the best ever Echobelly shows. A proper return was in the pipe-line. Echobelly debuted in 1993 with their debut EP, Bellyache, on the independent Pandemonium label. The favourable response including gushing press reviews and sold out gigs ensured the securing of a recording contract with Epic via their subsidiary, Rhythm King. Their first single, was Insomniac and the album, Everyone’s Got One, reached number 8 in the Uk Album charts. BOOTLEG BLONDIE is the official Debbie Harry & Blondie tribute band, the only Blondie tribute to play the legendary CBGB’s in New York City before it's demise in 2006 and to have the honour to be mentioned on Blondie’s 11th album ‘Pollinator’. Lead vocalist Debbie Harris appeared on two shows for BBC1 when she was picked out of 15,000 applicants to represent Debbie Harry on ‘Even Better Than The Real Thing’ hosted by Paddy McGuinness. The show drew in nearly 4 million viewers on the pilot episode alone. Debbie Harris and Bootleg Blondie have played the Isle Of Wight Festival, the 100 Club, the Hammersmith Palais, The Electric Ballroom in London, Eric’s in Liverpool, and have opened up for amongst others The Undertones, Slade, The Beat, Bad Manners, Heaven 17, Toyah, Hazel O’Connor, Tony Hadley, David Essex and Nick Kershaw and can be seen at all the major venues and festivals around the UK and Europe.Debbie Harris and the boys have met the REAL Blondie and are officially endorsed by the band. Debbie Harry got in touch in 2006 when she heard we were playing CBGB’s in New York City to wish us good luck with our show and when Clem Burke, Blondie's charismatic drummer, found out that we were making a replica of his Premier drum kit, he arranged a meet up to sign the Bootleg’s bass drum skin. ‘During the 2010 Blondie tour of the UK we took Clem out for a trip around London in our tour bus, he signed that too!!!!’In 2014 Clem invited Debbie and Andy to a recording session at the Foo Fighters’ famous 606 Studio in Los Angeles, where they saw Clem and the awesome Neve mixing desk in action!Debbie and Andy got married in March 2016 and to their great delight received two video clips from both Blondie and Debbie Harry herself congratulating them on their wedding day. What a wedding present! And probably the best Xmas present in the world ever was in 2016 when Clem Burke came along to a Bootleg Blondie gig and actually got up and played drums on stage with the band! He said afterwards that watching and playing with Bootleg Blondie was very emotional. Well Bootleg Blondie were very touched by Clem’s presence!!!Debbie Harris, lead vocalist of Bootleg Blondie, has the looks, the voice and the attitude of the original Blondie bombshell and like her heroine is typically outrageous on stage. She has been known to wear dustbin liners, thigh length boots and t.shirts with more holes than t.shirt!  Debbie's pride & joy is her guitar which she plays at every show and is signed by all the Blondie band members.Debbie Harris is the niece of the celebrated singer and actress Shani Wallis who played Nancy in Lionel Bart’s musical film 'Oliver'!                     ‘Good luck with your show!’ DEBBIE HARRY 'Playing with Bootleg Blondie was very emotional' CLEM BURKE ‘Thank you for your support’ CHRIS STEIN 'Hey Debbie and Andy congratulations, rock the house!' As featured by BBC London and Classic Rock Magazine, Pearl Jamm are the finest Pearl Jam tribute band in the UK. Brought together by their love of Pearl Jam, they regularly perform heartfelt and energetic live shows to packed venues across the UK, capturing the essence of Pearl Jam.
