Watford Colosseum
Watford Colosseum is a 1,309 seat venue in the heart of Watford and is home to the best live music and entertainment outside London. Watford Colosseum was built in 1938 as the Watford Town Hall Assembly Rooms to the design of architect Charles Cowles-Voysey and acoustician Hope Bagenal.       It has been 32 years since Scottish twins Craig & Charlie Reid aka The Proclaimers emerged. Since then, their enduring appeal across generations has carved a niche for themselves where pop, folk, new wave and punk collide as the emotional honesty, political fire, wit and sing-along raucousness of their songs and their extensive touring has enlightened and entertained fans throughout the World.   They have even inspired a musical, the play and film Sunshine on Leith. The musical had its fourth UK run from April to June last year, with its biggest production to date by West Yorkshire Playhouse. 2018 also marked the 30th anniversary since the release of the Sunshine On Leith album and in August saw The Proclaimers add to their magnificent songbook with the release of their 11th studio album Angry Cyclist. Following their sell out tour across the UK last year, The Proclaimers will be back on the road this year with appearances in Reykjavik and Singapore, before touring New Zealand and Australia, followed by several festivals throughout this summer. Junior Brother to Support The Proclaimers Junior Brother is an experimental alternative folk singer/ songwriter from Co. Kerry, Ireland, playing sometimes humorous, sometimes heady tunes. Strange stories, poetic and arcane, unfold with reckless abandon upon an idiosyncratic Guitar and Foot Tambourine accompaniment, taking musical influence from his upbringing in rural Ireland.
