I went to wheatfields in the early 1960s and the headmaster was mr Bowen..it was a lovely place , l remember,with extensive playing fields adjoining wheatfields,now sadly built on, l had hoped to find some history recorded about the school but can find none easily recorded it would be nice to have some on the school website of those early days perhaps someone reading this could add some.happy days old pupil howard goode. 24 Dec 15
