The Paper Trail project is an award winning industrial heritage exploration centre built around the historic, fully working Frogmore Paper Mill. The mill makes about 1000 tonnes of paper a year on a steam driven Victorian paper machine that dates back to 1895. Visitors to the centre can enjoy guided tours around the papermaking process, make their own paper and print a letterpress page before refuelling at Café on the Water and exploring the gift shop. The Paper Trail's own ferry, the Bryan Donkin, can provide trips along the River Gade and Grand Union Canal during the warmer days of the year. Parking is in the pay and display car park in Durrants Hill Road with disabled parking only at the entrance to Frogmore Mill.
