Dating from the sixteenth century and last used for milling in the 1950s, the mill has undergone a 10-year rebuilding and restoration project. It is now established as a museum and as the only working mill on the River Ver. There are four floors to explore with displays on how the mill works. Access to the floors is via steep steps with handrails. The Ver Valley Walk runs past the mill. Private visits by groups and school parties available on request. Cold drinks and ice creams (afternoon teas no longer available). Admission: adults £2, children & seniors £1. Organic stoneground flour and bread is available to purchase and is also sold by the bakery (see days and times below).
