We are big polluters... 

Over a third of residents in St Albans have two or more cars, 56% of us travel to work by car or van and, thanks to our love of gas guzzlers, we came second in a WWF survey of the most environmentally disastrous towns in the UK.

Our current target for recycling is 60%.

• get money for old clothes at Oxfam
• say 'no' to plastic bags
