St Mark's Church

St Mark's Church

St Mark's was consecrated on 30 December 1845 by the Bishop of London. It serves the Colney Heath parish between St Albans and Hatfield. The church holds a variety of services, organises special events and has special age-appropriate groups for children and young people (see website for details).

Smartees offers friendship and support for those caring for young children every Wednesday from 10-11.30 am (term-time). Tea, coffee, squash and biscuits or cakes are available. Sessions include a singing time and activities. Mini-Smartees for those with very young babies meets at the same times and in the same room and there is a Community Nursery Nurse available for advice and for weighing babies. There is no charge - small contributions welcomed. Contact Amy van der Walt or Jo Tracey in the church office for more details.
