9 of us dined last night at the Koh-I-Noor, we arrived at 7.30 ordered a few drinks, then starters and mains. Around 45 minutes later our starters arrived, which were average at best. After another hour our mains had still not arrived and some of us had to go to other events later in the evening, leaving us to cancel some of the mains, the staff were not understanding demanding we paid for them which I thought was a disgrace. Another half an hour later the remaining 5 at the table got our mains, which were cold, bland and full of onions and lacking in meat. What was very disturbing was the waiters carrying large red plastic containers and seeming to dump their contents down the sink. In the toilets upstairs whilst it appeared very clean, there were insects on the floor which I found revolting. On a table next to us were 6 young men who seemed to be distraught with their service and lack of food on the table, so we were not alone. Our coats were stored in a closet which looked most peculiar. The waiters seemed more bothered about answering the phone rather than table service which I found appalling. There was no apology and they refused to take money off our bill, I strongly advise no-one to go to this farce of an indian restaurant or you too will leave feeling very disgruntled.
