what became of the monkey monkey monkey?
We had a lovely few hours at Whipsnade today. There were four of us in our 'party' including a five year old, and we each had a top time. The five year old's favourites were the otters, the train, the bus (he didn't believe that it was a zebra on wheels), and the cheetahs. We adults liked the meerkats, the rhinos and the lions. Where were the monkeys though? You can get up real close and stay on your feet, unlike in large parts of Woburn, where you're basically stuck in your car queuing for the lions. At £15, or less for concessions, a head it's not cheap, but as a fun, educational day out for all it was worth every penny. Plus they have Dyson airblades in the toilets. [Mar 09]
