Toddler Splash

My other half and I took our 17 month old daughter to Toddler Splash, advertised on their website as 9am till 9.30am Wednesday morning. When we arrived we double checked at reception and were told that the session started at 9am so we had half an hour. As we were taking our daughter through to the pool, a large group of school children arrived and their teacher remarked to us that Westminister Lodge had to 'legally make the pool available to toddlers' but that the group was going in the teaching pool at 9am. We took our daughter in to the pool and after 2 minutes were asked to leave. We were then told we could take her into a roped off area of the adult pool which was really cold. There were no steps into this part of the pool and had I been on my own this would have been impossible and completely unsafe! The staff were not bothered, unresponsive and misinformed. The changing rooms were filthy and each of the changing tables were dirty or had talc on them. We left asked for a refund and won't be going back!! Not recommended at all. [Mar 12]

wet 'n' wild party at westminster lodge

I recently went a great party at westminster lodge. Take note parents! The evening included an inflatable obstacle course, diving boards for varying hights and two ultra-cool water slides. I would fully recommend this party for any child aged 10-13 and am still waiting for someone else to do a similar party. Although I would say that although 'they clear up' it did seem very stressful for the parents, although that is probably guarateed in a party of that nature. Great fun.... [Oct 08]
