lovely country pub

This is a lovely welcoming pub with a really nice back garden- lots of space for children to play, some brilliant play equipment including a bouncy castle and slide, summerhouse etc. We had a fantastic day with good food, really friendly service and a nice atmosphere- definitely recommend it! a sweet little village too and not even ten minutes out of town. Comfy pub but no food

A really nice comfortable local. Great for a pint with friends. When we went on a Thursday night, they weren't doing food though (this is being remedied apparently). Add some top quality pub grub and this place would warrant four stars. [Mar 09]
