Excellent Thai place
Warm and friendly place with a great atmosphere. Good solid Thai menu excellently executed and good value. Was one of the first St Albans restuarants I ever visited and I've been back regularly ever since. Their garden is one of the most stunning places in st albans, especially during bell ringing practice. I'm amazed they don't do more with it. [Sep 11]

Great food
We always go here when we go out for Thai. It's quite small and cosy and the food is always top quality and reasonably priced. Has a slightly old fashioned feel to it but no problem with that! [June 11]

Owner is old school
The owner of Thai Rack (who flits amongst tables) is very old-school. The food is brilliant...there's no denying that...but the owner can be a bit pushy and be aggressive enough to make you want to leave. Again, the food last time I was there was good, but we were with a party of 9 and rushed through each entree--it was horrible. We had gone regularly with the same group--each time spending in excess of £200. That night ended with the owner doing something totally inappropriate and having witnessed that, I cannot return. Luckily in St. Albans we're spoiled for choice for Thai, and Bua is just up the street! [Jan 11]
