St Saviour's Church

St Saviour's Church was built at the turn of the century to serve the Bernards Heath area of St Albans, then a 'New Town'. Services are held daily at various times - see website for details.

A self run toddler group for children aged 0 to 4 meets on Thursdays from 10-11.20am (term-time only). It has lots of toys (ride-ons, push alongs, kitchen, garage, cars, books and puzzles), a craft table (different each week) and singing. There is also a safe, outdoor area for children which is very popular in good weather. Tea, coffee, juice and biscuits provided. Hire information:	The church hall is available for hire and consists of a suite of two rooms, plus a kitchen. Contact Tina on 01727 864490. The church may also be hired, in which case the hall is also dedicated for the same use. The total cost of a church hire is £250. There may be additional charges for performing rights to works, or for special requirements such as additional lighting or heating. Contact Jenny on 01727 762400. There are restrictions on the times that these facilities are available, and the uses to which they may be put. Generally, Saturday and Sunday afternoons are good times for birthday parties.
