St Albans Model Engineering Club
This club promotes excellence in model engineering of locomotives, steam engines, boats etc. It meets weekly in a church hall in St Albans, where members help to build models. The club also meets at the lake in Verulamium Park, at its Puffing Field in Chippenham and undertakes various outings relating to this hobby. Membership costs £1.50 per monthly club night.
