The church serves a congregation of around 300 people in the North East of St Albans. Services take place every Sunday at 10.30am and 6.30pm (except August) and last approximately one hour. Coffee and biscuits are provided in the hall after morning worship. Holy Communion is the first Sunday of each month in the morning and the third Sunday in the evening (except August). There is a Junior Church for children aged 3+ during morning worship.
The Church also has a Senior Choir, Morning Chorus and Music Group, Bible Study and a Day Centre. It supports several Brownie, Guide, Beaver, Cub and Scout groups.
The Homewood Road URC Parent and Toddler group meets weekly every Thursday from 10-11.30am.
The St Albans Dementia Cafe is open on the second Monday of every month between 10am and 12pm. For more information please contact Jennifer Hewson 01442 260088 who is the Dementia Café Facilitator for the Alzheimer’s Society.
The Church is used by many community groups and charities including Young Music Makers, the St Albans Symphony Orchestra, the Penny Waterman Dance School and Badminton clubs. See the website for more details.

| Hire information: | The main hall is just larger than a badminton court. It will accommodate about 100 people, though its capacity depends on the nature of the event. There is a fully fitted kitchen. |
