Children 1st

This privately owned pre-school for children aged 3 to 4 opened in 2004 and uses the early years classrooms and fenced outside area of St Peter's School. Children follow the play-based Early Years Foundation Stage statutory curriculum framework. An Ofsted inspection in Sept 08 described Children 1st as a 'fun and enjoyable place for children to start their education because it is led well'. It was graded 'good' overall, with some 'outstanding' areas.
