Archery in St Albans
The Elswood Bowmen archery club was founded in 1958 and caters for archers shooting Recurve, Compound and Longbow. Its outdoor venue is the Cricket Field, Highfield Park, St Albans and its indoor venue is The Old Chapel, Shenley. The club runs beginners' courses throughout the summer and welcomes guests from other clubs.
