Abbey View Pre-school and Nursery opened in January 2006. The property has been converted and consists of two large nursery rooms, a waiting area, kitchen, an office/staff room and a secure outdoor play area. It offers morning, afternoon or all day care to children aged 2 to 5 years. The nursery supports children who have physical disability and children with learning disability. It also supports children who speak English as an additional language. All children follow the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum under the guidance of qualified teachers or NNEB trained staff. An inspection by Ofsted in June 06 found the quality and standards of care and nursery education to be good. Registration forms can be downloaded from the website.
