Windermere Primary School
This state community primary school opened in 1957 and has 150 pupils. A base for Specific Learning Difficulties is attached to the school and provides advice, training and support to teachers in 49 schools throughout St Albans, Redbourn, Harpenden and Wheathampstead. An Ofsted inspection in October 2008 found the school to be satisfactory (grade 3).
