Established in 1923, the Townsend Tennis Club has a large membership and a growing junior section. Facilities include six astroturf courts (three floodlit), two clay courts and a practice wall. Children can join age-appropriate mini tennis programmes: red (4-7s), orange (7-8s) and green (9-11s). Coaching is also available for different ability levels of junior players (11s+). New members welcome.
