St Michael's C of E Voluntary Aided Primary School
Founded in 1811, St Michael's became a church school in 1876 and has 140 pupils. Its two separate infant and junior schools merged in 1932. An Ofsted inspection in December 2006 found the school to be good overall (grade 2).
