St Albans Children's Book Group

Part of the Federation of Children's Book Groups, SACBG aims to encourage children of all ages to enjoy books and reading. They organise visits by authors and illustrators to schools and local venues, run storytimes for younger children, and offer members the chance to take part in testing books for the Red House Children's Book Award. Membership is open to families, schools and individuals. Members receive newsletters from the FCBG and Carousel magazine (a guide to the best in children's books) termly as well as having discounted entry to the events that they run.
