Founded in 1958, the St Albans Chamber Choir performs a varied repertoire of music from the 15th Century to contemporary works; both intimate and large-scale. It regularly engages professional orchestras and soloists and performs biannually with the Wormser Kantorei in St Albans' German twin town of Worms. Entry to the Choir is by audition and all singers with good sight reading abilities are welcomed. Supporters can join a free mailing list or the Friends scheme to enjoy priority bookings at discounted prices. Reduced price tickets are available to children and students in full-time education.
