The RSPB St Albans Group is run by volunteers to publicise the charity locally, recruit new members, raise funds and enjoy bird watching. Money raised by the group funds its own costs and supports the RSPB's conservation work. The group's events programme includes evening meetings with guest speakers and bird watching field trips.
