  • All children living in St Albans receive free Bookstart books at 6-12 months, 18-35 months and 3-4 years via their health visitor, library or nursery. Under-5's can also enjoy the Bookstart Book Crawl at any library.
  • There are two libraries in St Albans (Central and Marshalswick) and a further four in London Colney, Redbourn, Wheathampstead and Harpenden.
